For over three decades we have represented some of Asia's largest FMCG brands across Trinidad & Tobago and the Caribbean, and we now develop our own brands as well.

Company History

From a cosmetics counter inside a garment store to a dedicated distribution hub serving the region.

Cosmetics distribution begins under Pretanjali’s Ltd, then Trinidad’s largest Indian clothing chain.

Appointed distributor for Emami, Wipro and Jyothy Labs.

Indus Merchant Ltd is incorporated as a separate distribution company.

First regional export, with a sub-distributor appointed in Grenada, then Barbados, St Lucia, Guyana and others.

New warehouse and office complex built to improve storage and logistics.

Launch of Jouvey, Indus’s first own brand.

Nationwide coverage in Trinidad & Tobago, continued Caribbean sub-distribution, and more own-brand development including FreshFirst.
